Summer Travel: Packing for Italy

We are headed to Italy in July! This trip has been on our dream list forever. My husband is graduating from residency at the end of June so it felt like the right time. Milan, Lake Como, Venice, Cinque Terre, Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Sorrento, Capri, and Ravello are all on the itinerary. Please send over any restaurant recommendations, the pasta and wine are a destination all by themselves!

Recently, I’ve become a devout follower of Mr. Rick Steves, his travel guides and PBS episodes have me nerding out. Also, I’ve been doing a lot searching for travel items that would be great for any summer trip. All the finds are linked below!

Comfy Walking Shoes: Finding shoes that are both comfortable and stylish is no easy task. I’ve linked some great options whether you are visiting a national park, Disney Land, or the lake for summer. I know we will do a lot of walking in Italy, so finding supportive shoes was essential…this ain’t our 20’s anymore!

Target Finds: Target has an awesome sale going on right now, buy one get one 50%. I’ve linked some items that are perfect for summer. These black sandals are so comfy and chic! Also, this suitcase is soooo light-weight it’s unbelievable.

Summer Travel Looks: I’ve linked some easy to wear summer outfits. These are pieces that pack well (aka wrinkle resistant) and mix easily with other basics already in your closet. Does it get any better than the softest reversible t-shirt dress, that also comes in petite?!
