  1. Go Apple Picking: It is nearing the end of the season so hurry out for granny smith and red delicious apples. Also, it is not quite as busy as pumpkin patches at this time if you are looking for a more low key outing. Omaha Locals: Ditmars Orchard or Smalls Fruit Farm if you want a short day trip!

  2. Visit the Pumpkin Patch:......seems obvious, right? Can't miss this seasonal right of passage. This is still on my list, who cares if I don't have kids to blame it on! Omaha Locals: Valas, of course!

  3. Cook a Fall Feast: Our friends made this amazing roast chicken for us the other week with all the autumn fixings (still dreaming about it). Check out our caramel apple post for an easy fall desert! Omaha Locals: eyeing some cooking classes like this one!

  4. Host a Bonfire: There is something really magical about a bonfire on a cold fall night with an apple cider or hot toddy in hand. If you don't have the space for a true bonfire, handy little fire pits like this one make it super easy. We use ours every week!

  5. Watch the Leaves Turn: This past weekend I went to the park with my lab Rufus to play fetch. The trees are beyond beautiful in Nebraska right now with reds, oranges, and yellows everywhere! Omaha Locals: Elmwood Park and Lake Manawa are both really amazing right now, go see!

Any other fall activities we are missing?! Let us know, always up for new adventures. Thanks for Clocking Out with us!
