My absolute favorite DIY from our wedding was our photo booth. I realized in writing my DIY wedding post last week that I hadn't included any details on how to make the photo booth so opted to have a separate post instead. To make the backdrop, I purchased faux boxwood from Amazon, made white paper flowers, and purchased the laser-cut names from NgoCreations on Etsy. To hang it all up, we used this backdrop frame from Amazon, which held up surprisingly well considering how heavy the backdrop was, and a butt load of zip-ties to hold everything in place.
I purchased champagne and engagement ring balloons from LoveGarlands on Etsy and random other crap from Party City to use as props. We then worked it out with our awesome photographer Lora Grady Photography to borrow her camera equipment and a friend of hers to man it. In total, it was significantly cheaper than hiring a photo booth company and way more personalized! Not to mention it was hilarious looking through all the photos after the wedding :)
Since we didn't have the option to print out pictures the night of the wedding, I decided to create my own photo strips and send them in the thank you notes. I also uploaded all the photos onto our wedding website and let people know that they are available for download.
Next week I'll be sharing the reality of planning (and executing) a wedding without a wedding planner and some important tips for those in the process! Thanks for Clocking Out with us and don't forget to follow along with us on IG @clockingoutblog
